Welcome to my website. I am Mike Shultz, author of You Can’t Stop Love: A True Story of Redemption and Hope. These Terms of Service describe the rules for using www.mikeshultzauthor.com, subscribing to updates, and submitting speaking inquiries. Please read them before using these features. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or submit information through its forms.

About this website

This website shares information about my book, personal experiences, Christian faith, ministry, and speaking activities. It also provides newsletter signup and speaking inquiry forms and links to outside book retailers. These terms concern this website; purchases from retailers and separately arranged speaking engagements are governed by the applicable retailer terms or event agreement.

Using website content

The writing, photographs, graphics, book images, and other materials on this website belong to me or their respective owners or are used with permission. Copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws protect these materials. Third-party names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

Newsletter subscriptions

By choosing to subscribe, you request occasional email updates about my books, reflections, speaking engagements, events, and related author activities. The form explains the information requested and includes an express subscription choice. You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting contact@mikeshultzauthor.com. Submitting a speaking inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.

Speaking inquiries

Submitting a speaking request is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking, reservation, or agreement to pay. Availability, event requirements, fees, travel arrangements, recording permissions, and cancellation terms must be agreed separately in writing. I aim to respond within two business days, as stated on the website, but response times may vary. Please do not announce my participation until it has been confirmed in writing.

Messages and information you submit

You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you submit. Sending a message does not transfer ownership of your writing or grant permission to publish your personal story or use it as a testimonial. I may use your submission to respond to your request and for the related purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Separate permission will be requested before using private correspondence as a public testimonial.

Book purchases and external services

The website provides purchase links to independent retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, and Walmart. Orders placed through those links are transactions with the retailer. The retailer’s terms govern pricing, payment, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and access to digital or audio editions. Please direct questions about an order to the retailer where you purchased it.

Book formats, prices, and availability may change. Links to retailers, social media, and other external websites are provided for convenience. I do not operate those services or control their content, availability, or privacy practices. Review their terms and privacy policies when using them.

Personal experiences and encouragement

My writing and speaking draw on my personal experiences and Christian beliefs. They are offered for reflection, information, and encouragement. Accounts of faith, recovery, or perseverance describe individual experiences and do not promise that another person will have the same outcome. Website content is not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice and does not create a professional advisory relationship. Seek qualified professional guidance for decisions requiring that expertise.
